PRESS Restaurant celebrates Napa Valley — the people, the ingredients, and the wines. PRESS is a place for locals, winemakers, vintners, and guests from around the world to experience the best the Napa Valley has to offer — it is this sense of community that is at the heart of everything PRESS does.
We are looking for a FOH expo to work dinner service; preference will be given to candidates with previous experience in a fine-dining or Michelin-starred restaurant.
The expeditor is one of the most critical positions in the restaurant, playing a central role in the flow, pacing, consistency and success of any given service. When fully realized, they should be able to lead the team and expedite any service as well as any of the sous chef team. Additionally, they play a key role in the organization and structure of the plateware, serviceware and physical space and ensure the proper care, maintenance and inventory of these items.
There will be an introductory training to the expo role – cross training done from runner position – to gain a full understanding of table timing, runner responsibilities, basic expediting skills and is a very effective, well-prepared member of the running team on a consistent, daily basis
Must be available to work Sundays from 3:00 PM-close.
