IT Generalist

FrontLine Cyber Solutions is looking for a Senior IT Specialist that will work both in-house or be assigned to project teams to work with outside clients. As part of a FrontLine’s IT team, IT Specialist work closely with CSOC Analysts, Network Architects and IT Managers. Candidates will do the following:

• Installing, configuring and supporting network equipment including routers, proxy servers, switches, WAN accelerators, DNS and DHCP.
• Configuring firewalls, routing and switching to maximize network efficiency and security
• Setting up VPN
• O365 Admin Experience
• Active Directory Admin Experience
• Arranging scheduled upgrades
• Investigating faults in the network
• Updating network equipment to the latest firmware releases
• Configure and manage hardware, facilitated IP voice administrations, and firewalls
• Perform account setup for new and old employees
• Available on-call to assist with trouble tickets as needed
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Desired qualities:

• Knowledge of design, configuration, installation, testing, and maintenance of local and wide area computer wired and wireless networks
• Knowledge of computer network characteristics, network operating system software, and network components
• Troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose/resolve network system problems.
• Ability to interpret and apply complex technical manuals and reference materials.
• Ability to assist with developing network security and related procedures; and assist with performing network management activities.
• A good grasp of communication protocols (Mainly TCP/IP) and routing protocols
• Strong familiarity with control models and system security
• An ability to learn new technologies quickly
• Ability to travel
• An ability to follow processes
• Strong documentation skills
• Good communication skills – both written and verbal
