Farm & Ranch Supplies Sales

We are seeking a Farm & Ranch Sales Representative to join our team! The Farm & Ranch Sales Representative is the face of the company to the retail and commercial fencing and related product customer. It is the goal of this position to create satisfied customers by selling the right product of the many available in this division at the right price, profitably, courteously and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Present and sell company products and services to new and existing customers
• Prospect and contact potential customers
• Reach agreed upon sales targets by the deadline
• Resolve customer inquiries and complaints
• Set follow-up appointments to keep customers aware of latest developments
• Create sales material to present to customers

​Qualifications:

1. At least two (2) years prior direct experience in retail/commercial sales of farm/livestock equipment and supplies, preferred not required.

2. A high school diploma or equivalent

3. Successful completion of company sponsored training programs

4. Excellent organizational and communication skills.

5. Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.

6. An up to date and valid driver’s license to operate the types of vehicle the company currently owns

7. Demonstrated hands-on computer and accounting software operations skills with company information systems, MS Word and Excel, email and related systems.

8. Willingness to “roll up his sleeves” and do what is necessary to get the job done.

9. This is primarily an administrative position but from time to time will require working in a warehouse/yard environment and as such the incumbent must be capable of lifting items of at least 50 lbs.
