POSITION OVERVIEW:
As our Kitchen Manager, you are the heart of the operation. You’ll be in charge of the food and the staff, ensuring everything runs smoothly. Your main mission? To guarantee our kitchen operates like a well-oiled machine. This includes keeping a tight grip on costs, managing and inspiring the team, maintaining efficient kitchen flow, and being ready to solve any problems that come up… whether it’s an employee not showing up or kitchen equipment acting up. If you’re skilled at managing people, controlling costs, and can easily handle unexpected challenges, we want you on our team!
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide leadership and direction to kitchen staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
- Oversee purchasing, inventory management, and procurement to ensure optimal stock levels and cost control
- Develop and implement kitchen schedules to meet operational needs while maximizing staff efficiency
- Optimize kitchen flow and layout to enhance productivity and minimize wait times
- Think on your feet to address unforeseen challenges and adapt quickly to changing circumstances
- Inspire and motivate kitchen staff to deliver consistently high-quality dishes and exceptional service
- Utilize your business acumen to control costs and maximize profitability while maintaining high standards of quality
- Experience in launching new restaurants and building new teams is a plus
