Commercial/Consumer Lender

Seeking versatile and skilled generalized lender. The ideal candidate will have a well-rounded understanding of various types of loans and lending practices. From commercial loans to mortgages, development loans to auto, this role requires expertise in assessing loan applications, managing risk, and fostering positive relationships with clients. The lender will play a crucial role in evaluating loan requests, determining creditworthiness, and structuring loan terms to meet both the needs of the borrower and the objectives of the lending institution.

Requirements:

1.     Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field. Master's degree or MBA preferred.

2.     Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial and consumer lending, with a proven track record of originating and managing diverse loan portfolios.

3.     Strong understanding of lending principles, financial analysis, and risk management.

4.     Knowledge of lending regulations and compliance requirements, including but not limited to TRID, RESPA, TILA, and Fair Lending laws.

5.     Excellent analytical skills with the ability to evaluate complex financial data and make sound lending decisions.

6.     Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.

7.     Proficiency in financial modeling and loan origination software.

8.     Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

9.     Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and record-keeping.

Professional certifications such as Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) or Certified Lender Business Banker (CLBB) are a plus.
