Matthew Walker Comprehensive Health Center has an exciting opportunity available for a skilled, resourceful and motivated individual who would like to make a difference in the lives of others in helping a non-for-profit organization fulfill its mission to provide quality health care. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Facilities Maintenance Manager (FMM) will be responsible for the following to include, but not limited to:
· Ensure the Nashville facility is properly maintained through proactive supervision of the housekeeping staff.
· Maintain a list of required tools and supplies for departmental use and ensure proper quantities are available for staff use. Ensure all cleaning supplies should meet OSHA requirements.
· Maintain and facilitate coordination of the MWCHC Work Order Tracker system to ensure timely response to work requests. Facilities coordinator should have good judgement on priority of work orders.
· Implement the Environment of Care Manual by ensuring completion of daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual inspections.
· Coordinate a report of ongoing preventative and corrective maintenance schedules for equipment at three facilities.
· Ensure that all packages are distributed to the correct department or properly stored per departmental policy.
· Monitor the work of vendors related to facility maintenance, repairs, general services.
· Maintains proactive and ongoing communication with Operations Manager and members of the Management Team regarding facility operations and security.
· Participate in all Safety and Security Committee Meetings, ensure completion of all required security reports.
· Ensures buildings are secure by overseeing security staff and maintaining communication with security system vendor(s).
· Follows proper procedure for opening the facility and reporting any security breaches or potential risk.
· Adheres to all MWCHC policies and procedures.
· Perform all duties assigned by Management.
· Coordinate monthly rotation to Smyrna and Clarksville to ensure inspections are complete and maintain Safety and Security compliance (fire drills, tornado drills, etc.)
· Participate in and manage project activities such as facility improvements and upgrades.
· Direct, communicate, and oversee maintenance relating to the condition and appearance of the interior & exterior of all facilities.
· Prepare and conduct performance reviews for the housekeeping staff.
· Must be willing and able to support possible after-hours building-related activity as required.
High School Diploma or GED and a minimum of 1 year of experience in a health care facility is required for this position. Potential candidate must possess solid understanding of OSHA regulations.
