Cardiac Medical Scheduler

Busy Cardiology practice seeking a full-time hospital procedure scheduler for cardiology invasive procedures. Prefer at least two (2) years of relevant related experience, preferably in a clinic setting. Requires scheduler to have excellent communication, time management, and leadership skills. Must have cardiology experience.

Responsibilities
- Schedule and coordinate appointments for cardiology patients efficiently and accurately.
- Provide exceptional medical administrative support to ensure smooth clinic operations.
- Utilize strong communication skills to interact with patients, medical staff, and other healthcare professionals.
- Manage multi-line phone systems to handle patient inquiries and appointment scheduling.
- Maintain patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Utilize EMR and EHR systems to input and retrieve patient information accurately.
- Demonstrate proficiency in medical terminology to effectively communicate with healthcare providers.
- Prioritize tasks effectively to ensure timely completion of daily responsibilities.
- Collaborate with the medical team to ensure patient care is coordinated and efficient.
- Display leadership skills to guide and support other administrative staff in the clinic setting.
