Mechconnect Inside Sales Representative

Summary/Objective

The Mechconnect Inside Sales Representative is responsible for meeting or exceeding established sales and profitability goals via customer management and development.

Essential Functions

· Provide primary point of contact to determine customer requirements, fulfillment plans and address customer service needs.

· Communicate with the team to generate timely and accurate quotes, establish terms and conditions, and ensure contractual obligations are met.

· Develop and implement plans to increase sales revenue and meet forecast targets.

· Collaborate with sales team on account and territory strategy and pricing negotiation.

· Proactive opportunity and lead follow-up, quote disposition analysis and new customer prospecting.

Work Environment

This job operates in a sales office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Physical Demands

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, at times can be high.

Required Education and Experience

Associates degree (A. A.) from college or university plus two years related experience; or four to six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Education and Experience

Additional relevant education or experience; advanced training in recent sales techniques.
