Job Description

We are seeking a Warehouse Worker/Backup CDL Truck Driver to join the Channel One team! You will be responsible for assisting in the areas of shipping, receiving, and warehouse maintenance as well as serving as a back-up truck driver, safely operating a reefer truck with a capacity of at least 33,000 pounds GVW to deliver food to non-profit agencies and food shelves across 14 counties of SE Minnesota and La Crosse County, Wisconsin.

Job duties include assisting with scanning, pulling, assembling, and loading outgoing product orders, unloading trucks, weighing, counting, receipting and labeling pallets of incoming product, moving product into freezer, cooler, or dry storage racks and bins, and performing cleaning and maintenance of warehouse and equipment. Ideal candidate will be forklift and food safety trained and certified.

Qualifications:

Forklift experience and ability to be certified
Current Medical Card and valid Class B CDL
Previous warehouse shipping/receiving experience
Good communication, organizational, time management and mathematical skills
Dependable and reliable
Able to handle physical workload
Inventory, equipment maintenance, data entry and computer skills
Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds frequently
