Restaurant Crew Member / Prep cook (Flexible Hours + Tips)

Pay: $16.00 - $16.50 per hour + tips

Position: Crew Member/Prep Cook

Overview: Join the vibrant team at Hawaii Poke Bowl in Maple Grove, MN, as a Crew Member/Prep Cook! We're seeking individuals who are passionate about fresh, tasty, and healthy food, and who are committed to delivering exceptional customer service. Full-time and part-time positions available.

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Welcome customers warmly and provide excellent customer service throughout their visit.
• Accurately taking orders, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Prepare and assemble food items daily according to standardized recipes in accordance with projected daily sales.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment by performing cleaning tasks and following sanitization procedures.
  • Prep tables, Bar line, prep sinks, floors, walk-in coolers, walk-in freezers, walls, storage areas
• Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned to ensure smooth operations, and clean environment
• Adhere to food safety and hygiene guidelines to ensure the health and safety of our customers and team members.
• Basic knowledge of all items, ingredients, and procedures
• Supportive to Team members

Requirements:

• Communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and procedures.
• Positive attitude, team player mentality, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and able to lift 50 lbs.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Previous restaurant experience preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices is a plus.
• Experience with cash handling and POS systems is advantageous but not necessary.
