THIS POSITION REQUIRES EXTENSIVE U.S TRAVEL! (On the road for 2-3 weeks at a time).
This position is 50/50 sales and field operations. As a "working manager" you'll be responsible for doing PHYSICAL WORK while leading your team.
We are looking for a traveling Assistant Acquisitions Manager to assist with sales and operations. Ideal candidate will be based out of Charlotte, NC and able to travel with very little notice.
SALES - You’ll be directly responsible for traveling to various cites in the U.S and assisting/managing in the entire sales sales cycle from generating leads to closing business.We expect you to be a reliable sales professional able to meet or exceed sales quotas and work independently with little supervision.
A normal day-to-day will be canvassing warehouses and industrial truck parking locations for leads. Calling on truck owners and offering to advertise on the trucks. A lot of the work is done on evenings and weekends.
OPERATIONS - A "working manager". You'll be responsible for managing a small crew of production associates AND doing some of the physical work alongside them. Productions duties include but are not limited to: installing, repairing, removing advertising vinyl. Very physical work! Must be comfortable working on your feet for 12+ hours, working nights and weekends, and on ladders/scaffolding systems.
A normal day-to-day will be contacting vendors to assure trucks will be ready, assuring crew has all necessary tools, performing physical work and managing crew at job site to install, repair, or remove advertising vinyl.
Sales Responsibilities
Travel extensively to cities in the U.S.. Required to be in market for 2-3 weeks at a time.
Manage the entire sales cycle from generating a lead to closing a deal.
Develop new sales opportunities through canvassing warehouses/truck parking lots, meeting with truck owners, and offering to place an advertisement on trucks.
Provide professional after-sales support to clients.
Remain in frequent contact with the clients and assist with oversight of ad installation.
Assist in on-going managing of advertisements.
Operational Responsibilities
Assist small crew of production associates to do the physical work of installing, repairing, and removing vinyl.
Must be comfortable to work outside in the elements (cold, hot, windy, rainy, snowing, etc...).
Comfortable working on ladders, scaffolding, hands on physical work.
Must be comfortable in managing projects and entry level production associates.
Proficient with spreadsheets, Gmail, phone apps, etc... to manage project to completion.
Skills
3 years of proven Outside Sales experience.
Motivated, self-starter attitude with experience in lead generation, sales, and closing business.
Proficient knowledge of CRM software, and other G-Suite applications (Google Drive, Google Sheets, etc...) is a plus.
Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships
Organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work independently is a must!
SPANISH Bi-Lingual is a PLUS!
Experience in traveling to multi-states is preferred.
BA in business administration, sales, marketing or related experience is preferred.
Comfortable in doing physical operational work as outlined above.
