The mapping department is staffed with licensed surveyors who have extensive experience with preparation and interpretation of legal descriptions and mapping procedures. Duties:
- Assist with project coordination and filing project documentation, project plan submittal schedules, etc.
- Prepare line work and map calculations, plot exhibits, and produce tentative and final maps necessary for subdividing property.
Qualifications:
Hunsaker & Associates, an established planning, civil engineering, and surveying firm has opportunities in our Irvine, Riverside, and Los Angeles, California offices for Design Engineers with experience in Land Development. Candidate should have the following qualifications:
- Candidate should have minimum 3-5 years proven mapping experience.
- Minimum 3 year experience with AUTOCAD.
- Knowledge of Orange County, Riverside County, San Bernardino County, and Los Angeles County Mapping Standards
- Assist with project coordination and filing project documentation, follow project submittal schedules, etc.
- Experience with any of the following helpful; Preparation of Legal Descriptions, ALTA, Lot Line Adjustments, Parcel Map, Tentative Tract Maps, Final Map.
- Hold a university degree in engineering.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Preferred but not essential. Engineer In Training (EIT) or Land Surveyor (LSIT).
- You will assist with project coordination and filing project documentation, project plan submittal schedules, etc.
