Workforce Consultants {www.hrbyworkforce.com} is a boutique HR Firm servicing small, medium and large companies of all industries throughout California.
We are looking for a mid-level HR Specialist solid HR Generalist experience and extensive Payroll Processing experience, including California wage and hour law compliance. This position will start part-time, approximately 20 hours per week and will migrate to full time, up to 40 hours per week within approximately 90 days. Our boutique firm is growing and we offer excellent future growth for this position to the level of HR Consultant.
Duties will include HR Projects, both on-site and off-site as directed by Primary HR Consultants and Management and Payroll processing, using several systems, such as ADP, GUSTO, PayChex and others on behalf of our clients. Must have experience with Employee Handbooks and Policy understanding, California employment laws, legal requirements for job descriptions, including proper classifications, employee relations and problem solving, recruiting and training. This is not a Trainee position, but rather an opportunity for an experienced HR/Payroll Professional with at least 3 years experience in HR generalist work and Payroll administration.
Work will be performed from a blend of remote from home, our office in Oceanside and Client sites throughout Southern California: SD, Inland Empire and OC. Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) candidates are not mandatory, but highly preferred.
