Sales Account Executive – IT Solutions - Kansas City Area Market:
We are looking for a driven individual who will be responsible for selling our edge solution product lines in the Kansas City area marketplace. ITS is the exclusive manufacturer’s representative for Vertiv, the market leader in computer room / IT solutions. The focus of this position is to provide high quality solutions for our customers to keep their IT environments online and running efficiently. These solutions include edge power systems, management / monitoring solutions, integrated systems and ancillary products and services.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain, expand, and develop sales of the edge systems product portfolio within the territory. This includes the Kansas City metro, Springfield, Joplin, Topeka, and Manhattan.
- Become highly proficient in edge systems equipment and design, data center trends, and new technologies.
- Develop strong relationships with channel partners and IT end users built on collaboration and trust.
- Educate the marketplace on edge solutions, communicating the value and benefits through presentations and demonstrations to channel partners and IT end user customers.
- Provide guidance and training to enhance product knowledge and sales capabilities of our partners.
- Provide design and hands-on assistance with equipment selection through on-site meetings to align our solutions with customer goals and requirements.
- Facilitate sales of ongoing edge product service contracts.
- Become an active participant in data center organizations in the area.
- Help Innovative Technology Solutions remain a leader in our field by keeping up with industry trends, landscape, and emerging technologies that align with our portfolio.
- Contribute to a positive team culture through respect, support, and inclusion amongst your colleagues.
- This role will have the ability to expand into other LOBs within the organization, thereby enhancing your value in the marketplace and provide opportunities for professional growth.

Preferred Qualifications and Requirements:
- 3-5 years of postgraduate outside sales experience
· Relationship focused individual with persistent drive and adaptability to navigate obstacles and handle objections.
- Highly efficient, organized, and dependable
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with others.
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university
- Computer skills in Excel, PowerPoint, Etc.
- Knowledge of the Kansas City area IT end user, channel partner (IT reseller and electrical wholesale), and / or engineering market is beneficial, but not required.
- Knowledge of the data center space and electrical technical background is beneficial, but not required.
