Tier 1 Fire Protection is a leading name in the Fire Life Safety and Low Voltage industry. We are currently seeking a Fire Alarm & Security Technician to join our team!
What you will do:
As a full-time Technician, you will install and service low voltage systems in commercial, retail, educational, healthcare, and industrial jobs throughout our service area. In this role we are looking for a highly motivated, responsible, reliable, and teamwork-oriented technician to ensure superior installations on all projects.

Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Installation, testing, and service of low voltage fire and security systems, including CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, and other low voltage systems.
- Run wiring and cabling for low voltage systems, ensuring they meet safety standards and building codes.
- Maintain and repair low voltage systems as needed, identifying and troubleshooting issues.
- System programming and configuration as required.
- Ensure that all work is completed in a timely and efficient manner, adhering to company safety protocols.
- Maintain inventory of materials and equipment needed for job sites.
- Keep the work area clean and organized.
- Communicate with customers in a professional and courteous manner
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record required
- Must be able to pass a drug test
- Basic knowledge of hand tools, including electric and battery-powered equipment
- Proficient in basic computer skills Proactive approach and attitude towards work
- Demonstrate problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes
- Must be able to lift 10-50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally
- May be exposed to temperature changes, small spaces, and confined spaces

Some of the most common systems we offer services on are: Wet and Dry Systems, Pre-Action and Deluge Systems, Fire Hydrants, Fire Pumps, Fire Hoses and Standpipes, Fire System Backflows, Domestic Backflows, Irrigation Backflows, Clean Agent and CO2 Systems, Emergency Lights, and Fire Extinguishers.
