Job Description:
As an Assistant Project Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting the successful execution of our construction projects. Under the guidance of senior project management staff, you will assist in coordinating project activities, managing resources, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate with a degree in construction management or a related field to gain hands-on experience in the construction industry and advance their career.

Responsibilities:

1. Support the Project Manager in all phases of project planning, execution, and closeout.
2. Assist in developing project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with project team members.
3. Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
4. Assist in reviewing project drawings, specifications, and contracts to understand project requirements.
5. Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance.
6. Assist in preparing and updating project documentation, including contracts, change orders, RFIs, and meeting minutes.
7. Track project expenses, maintain budget reports, and assist in cost control efforts.
8. Communicate effectively with project stakeholders to provide updates, address concerns, and facilitate coordination.
9. Assist in resolving project issues, conflicts, and challenges in a timely and efficient manner.
10. Support the Project Manager in managing project risks and ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
2. Minimal experience in the construction industry, including internships or co-op positions (preferred).
3. Strong organizational and time management skills.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore).
6. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
7. Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and accuracy.
8. Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
9. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
10. Ability to work on-site and travel to project locations as needed.
