Job Description

We are looking for a talented Drafter with experience in glazing systems to produce accurate and detailed drawings for our glass and metal installations. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and engineers to create drawings that meet industry standards, building codes, and project specifications.

Responsibilities:

Project Collaboration:

Work closely with project managers, architects, and engineers to understand project requirements and objectives.

Participate in project meetings to gather information and provide input on design and construction considerations.

Drawing Production:

Create detailed drawings for glazing systems, including but not limited to storefronts, curtain walls, windows, and doors, using AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant software.

Ensure accuracy and precision in all drawings, adhering to project specifications and industry standards.

Compliance and Standards:

Stay up to date on building codes, regulations, and industry standards related to glazing installations.

Ensure that all drawings comply with applicable codes and regulations.

Revision and Improvement:

Revise drawings based on feedback from project stakeholders.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of drafting processes and standards within the company.

Communication:

Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, providing clear and concise communication.

Address and resolve any issues related to drawings during the construction phase.

What we're looking for:

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Glazing Drafter or similar role.

Proven proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit with strong drafting skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines efficiently.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Strong understanding of glazing systems, materials, and construction methods.

Detail-oriented and organized with a commitment to quality.
