Financial Advisor Assistant

Cook Financial Group is looking for an experienced Financial Planning Assistant

The position will start out as a 1099 Independent Contractor and may gravitate to a more substantial role as time goes on (depending on performance).

Key roles and responsibilities:

· Application and form completion

· Case research and preparation

· Processing and case follow up

· Client communication

· Coordination of client appreciation events

· Client Relationship Management (database management)

· Compliance management

· Document management

· Vendor liaison

· Marketing/promotion/advertising

The ideal candidate possesses the following characteristics:

· A strong eye for detail

· An appreciation for the financial planning industry

· Good math skills

· Effective communication

· Strong clerical, organizational, and time management skills

· Ability to multi-task

· Database management and other office technology

· Self-discipline (self-starter) / ambition

· Ability to work from home (local remote only)

· Honesty, integrity, and a strong work ethic

The Financial Planning Assistant’s primary function is to reduce the heavy lifting that comes with clerical, administrative, and operational duties, which allows the planner to spend more time with clients.
