carried in 8,000+ major grocery chains outlets and are available on Amazon is seeking a Financial Planning and Insights Manager to join their entrepreneurial team!!!!
Position Job Overview:
The ideal candidate will lead and maintain annual operating and strategic plan models and processes in addition to being a finance business partner to Sales and Marketing. Furthermore, because of our fast-paced growth, the candidate will be expected to step-up and assume responsibilities that may not be outlined below.
Responsibilities:
Financial Planning and Insights Manager will partner with the CFO to:
Create and maintain financial planning models and variance analysis reports.
Develop and maintain Tops-Down Gross Sales and Volume forecast for the next 3-5 years as a basis for the Strategic and Annual
Operating Plans.
Manage the process to develop the annual operating plan by establishing budget targets by P&L line cascading targets to team
level.
Partner with Sales and Marketing team to model, forecast, and analyze spending in the areas of pricing, promotional and non promotional activities, in addition to shopper marketing events.
Provide commercial insights and analysis of results along with identifying trends to drive and/or improve business performance.
Create and maintain customer-level forecasts and reports.
Partner with cross-functional team leads to identify and manage risk and opportunities.
Prepare and communicate forecast and budget presentations to the leadership team.
Research, Analysis, Systems
Prepare and provide guidance for ad hoc projects, research and/or analysis for the CFO and Leadership team
members to support decision-making.
Serve as a team member to scope, assess, and implement financial planning systems and processes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
5+ years of experience in related role and/or Finance within a CPG company only.
Demonstrate prior experience in consumer package goods financial planning and reporting roles.
Demonstrate strong analytical and business acumen skills.
Proficiency in using QuickBooks and/or Net Suite accounting systems recommended.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis on Excel.
Ability to manage non-routine problems and work within specific time constraints.
Detail-oriented and able to work effectively in a fast-paced work environment.
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Confidence to work within fast-paced work environment in person office 5 days a week.
In office attendance required at Long Island Office w/ potential for 10% travel to just attend Company meeting in NY and/or
Orlando.
