Kane Partners is seeking a Civil Infrastructure Project Engineer for our client located in Parsippany NJ.

This role will be responsible for: Evaluating, selecting, and applying standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria on moderately complex projects. Conceptualize the initial civil design approach for assigned phases of large land/site development including:

• · Using advanced techniques, theory precepts and practices in the civil engineering field and related sciences and disciplines.
• · Serving as liaison between clients and agencies, subcontractors, and design teams on complex project issues.
• · Making design recommendations, adaptations, and modifications.
• · Planning, scheduling, conducting, and/or coordinating detailed phases of assigned project work.
• · Carrying out complex or novel assignments requiring the development of new or improved civil engineering techniques or procedures to create new or refined equipment, materials, processes or methods.
• · Creating own design work using computer-aided or manual drafting techniques.
• · Preparing reports and correspondence concerning the direction of projects.
• · Performing field investigation or inspections.
• · Conducting constructability reviews or assist in the design/plan/review of other civil engineering projects.
• · Reviewing plans and preparing/reviewing technical specifications, contract documents, and estimates.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• PE license strongly preferred or the ability to obtain a professional license in 6-12 months.
• Five or more (5+) years of experience in civil engineering, land development industry or related industry experience strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated proficiency with computer applications and civil engineering design software such as Civil3D.
• Familiarity with reading construction plans.
