Position Overview:

Kiki on the River is seeking a motivated and experienced Floor Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, a strong leadership presence, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. The Floor Manager will oversee daily operations, manage employees, and ensure a memorable dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Staff Management:
• Recruit, train, and supervise front-of-house staff.
• Schedule and manage staff shifts to ensure adequate coverage and efficiency.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to employees.
• Address any staff issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Customer Service:
• Ensure exceptional customer service by training employees on service standards and guest relations.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly and professionally.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and implement improvements as necessary.
• Operations Management:
• Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth and efficient service.
• Manage reservations, seating arrangements, and waitlists to maximize restaurant capacity.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized restaurant environment.
• Manage inventory, order supplies, and control costs to optimize profitability.
• Financial Management:
• Monitor sales performance and financial targets, and implement strategies to achieve revenue goals.
• Prepare and manage the restaurant’s budget, including labor and operating expenses.
• Monitor and control food and beverage costs to ensure profitability.
• Team Development and Training:
• Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for staff to enhance their skills and performance.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment to promote team cohesion and morale.
• Event Coordination:
• Coordinate and manage private events, parties, and special promotions as required.
• Work closely with the marketing and events team to promote the restaurant and attract new customers.
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
• Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in restaurant POS systems and other relevant software.
• Knowledge of food and beverage industry trends and best practices.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
