We are looking for a Pre-press Operator to join the KP team in our new Riverton Facility.


The Pre-press Operator is responsible for preparing and/or correcting images per customer and KP

requirements for digital imaging and computer to plate output. Provide computer support to aid existing Pre-Press Lead in managing and maintaining current and future technology needs.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Prepares, manipulates and corrects supplied electronic files for digital assembly and output, including trapping impositions, editing and color correction.
  • Interprets job tickets accurately so jobs are completed per customer's requirements.
  • Helps develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) for job related functions, processes, and/or recommend method efficiencies and process improvements.
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned.




  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • 2 years experience with basic printing, pre-press workflows, pre-press software, and color management.
  • Two years of demonstrated experience working with computer hardware (Mac and PC OS's), including both Client & Server Architectures.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft products and Adobe Creative Suite. Dynamics AX is a plus.
  • Strong verbal, written and listening skills; ability to read, understand and follow SOP's, supervisor instructions and safety, security and quality procedures.
  • Handles multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment uses self-management skills to plan, organize and prioritize work activities to use time efficiently.
  • Strong technical creative talent.
  • Reviews all work carefully for completeness and accuracy.
  • Interpersonal skills to get along with employees, maintain confidentiality, and remain open to new ideas.
  • Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; offers solutions.
