We need a nerd with social skills. Someone with a genius for clearly explaining technical issues to executives who may not have time for a lecture. The ability to act independently and the judgment to know when to reach out for help is key. We need somebody with the potential to be a mentor and a manager as they grow in the company.

We have worked hard to build a team of strong personalities that love what they do. Our team mostly worked at Apple in one capacity or another in the past, and we have tried to carry much their culture into our own. Our organization has minimal bureaucracy and red tape and allows you to freely voice ideas and suggestions.

As a company we are committed to a work/life balance. It is rare for us to ask for after hours work, with the company wide average overtime worked less than 15 minutes per week. We provide a consistent 8-5 work schedule for our team, and have granted alternate work schedules in the past when feasible.

TerminalSolutions is run by a hands-on owner who works alongside the team in the field and from the back office. We don’t pigeonhole our team, we expect everyone to be able to diagnose issues on a Mac, isolate network problems, recommend solutions to customers and speak articulately to how technology can shape workflows and culture in our client's companies.

TerminalSolutions is an Apple ecosystem-focused Managed Services Provider that offers on-site and remote support for clients throughout the South and Southwest, with teams centered in San Antonio, Austin and Dallas/Ft Worth, and Phoenix. Our daily work is a mix of on-site troubleshooting/consultation and remote support for our clients. Our clients come from all walks of life, ranging from home users all the way up to enterprise clients with hundreds of users. We fix what is broken, provide guidance for our clients and educate their users. Our focus is relentlessly on our customers and what is best for them.

We focus on providing best-in-class remote support for our clients, but we do require that our team be willing to go on-site when needed to perform service that is impractical remotely. We are an officeless work-from-home company, with frequent on-site work performed at customer locations.

At this time we are accepting applications for Full-Time candidates only.

We do have some specific requirements for this job:

  • The position is located in San Antonio, TX, and residence within the San Antonio area or surrounding towns is required.
  • Must have drivers license, reliable transportation and legally adequate insurance. Proof will be required.
  • 2+ years of experience providing support on Apple/Mac products is a must.
  • At least one year experience working as an Genius, Creative or FRS at an Apple Retail store is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills. This job is as much about explaining why something went wrong as fixing what has broken.
  • Ability to stand alone and evaluate issues with the judgement to know when to get help from the rest of the team is very important.

  • Apple Certifications/Experience
  • Experience with Cisco Meraki and Ubiquiti networking equipment
  • Mobile Device Management experience
  • Linux server administration experience
