Construction Superintendent

Equality Builders is a Maryland-based General Contracting firm that specializes in turn-key Multi-family Renovations and Office Conversions. We are looking for a full-time Superintendent to join our team in the DC, Virginia, and Maryland Areas. The Construction superintendent will be responsible for overseeing the operations of the construction site, organizing the teams to optimize site performance, inspecting and ensuring timely progress of all work on-site, enforcing safety protocols, bidding on additional work, and leading your team to success while completing all tasks on time and within budget. The ideal Construction Supervisor must communicate at a high level with the team, and building management, and give real-time feedback to teams when inspecting the work, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standards.

Qualifications

• Supervisory Skills: The ideal candidate should have experience in supervising a team and managing a construction site.
• Site Supervision: The candidate should have experience in overseeing the day-to-day operations of a construction site.
• Communication: The candidate must have excellent communication skills and be able to effectively communicate with the team, stakeholders, and upper management. Must be proficient with email communication.
• Bid Creation: The ideal candidate should have experience in bid and change order creation and possibly be familiar with takeoffs.
• Inspection: The candidate should have experience in inspecting the work and ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standards.
• Construction Safety: The candidate should have knowledge of construction safety protocols and be able to ensure that all safety protocols are followed.
• Multifamily Commercial Renovations Experience: The ideal candidate should have specific experience in multifamily commercial renovations.

Relevant Skills and Qualifications: The ideal candidate may have a degree in construction management or a related field, and experience in the construction industry.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $76,000.00 per year
