We're currently hiring a FT Line Cook to join our team! Experience is required. Must be available weekends and have the ability to work AM and PM shifts.
The Restaurant at North Block is a part of Mosaic Hotel Group’s collection of award-winning, boutique hotels, and restaurants. As a Line Cook, you will prep, set up and prepare quality food products in assigned areas of the kitchen in accordance with departmental quality standards and specifications. Maintain organization, cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment.
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES:

· Work well under pressure of meeting production schedules and timeliness.
· Maintain good coordination.

· Provide legible written communication.
· Do basic arithmetic.
· Be a team player – need to be willing to lend a helping hand to any teammate at any time.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
· Two years’ restaurant experience
· Two years’ experience in a food preparation position
· Ability to read and communicate in English with guests, co-workers and management to their understanding.
· Food Handler Certification
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
· High school diploma or equivalent vocational training certificate
· Certification of culinary training or apprenticeship
· Ability to communicate in a second language, preferably Spanish.
· Sanitation certificate.
