Job Description

Food Service Equipment is seeking a skilled Refrigeration Technician to join our team. As a Refrigeration Technician, you will be responsible for servicing and repairing commercial refrigeration and cooking equipment primarily in restaurants and grocery stores. This position offers a competitive wage and benefits package.

Responsibilities:

Diagnose issues with commercial refrigeration and cooking equipment in restaurants and grocery stores.
Perform routine maintenance tasks on refrigeration systems to ensure optimal performance.
Repair or replace defective components, such as compressors, condensers, and evaporators.
Install new refrigeration systems according to manufacturer specifications.
Test refrigeration systems for leaks and ensure proper functioning.
Respond promptly to service calls and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions.
Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
Filling out work orders at the end of the job
Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times.
Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients and team members.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Refrigeration Technician or similar role, preferably in a commercial setting.
Knowledge of refrigeration systems, including but not limited to compressors, condensers, evaporators, and refrigerant types.
Ability to troubleshoot and repair complex refrigeration and cooking equipment.
Familiarity with electrical and mechanical systems.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
EPA License Type 1, 2, 3, or universal
Ability to work an on-call schedule
