What You Will Do as a Virus Laboratory Manager:

• Schedule production runs for maximized throughput and quality
• Hire, train, motivate, coach and develop staff for growth and lab skills
• Maintain equipment, records, inventory and SOPs
• Troubleshoot vaccine production complications and execute resolutions

Requirements of a Virus Laboratory Manager:

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in related field (Biology, Chemistry, Animal Science, etc)
• 3-5 years’ experience minimum in Virology Production Laboratory Management
• Virus production required; Animal virus production experience highly preferred
• Ability to lift 50lbs to shoulder, maneuver up to 110lbs with mechanical aid
• Familiar with and ability to adhere to USDA regulations
