Accountant/Bookkeeper for Independent Auto Dealer 2+yrs Exp Required

** Earn $70,000/yr Salary**

We are seeking an Accountant/Bookkeeper with at least 2+ years Accounting/Bookkeeper experience. Prior experience in this position with a dealership or buy-here/pay-here dealer is preferred but NOT required.

*QuickBooks Online Proficiency is Required*

*Experience in Accounting/Bookkeeping in the Auto Industry is a PLUS*

Ideal Qualifications:

*2+ years Bookkeeper/Accounting experience Required
*Bookkeeping experience for a dealership or buy-here/pay-here dealer is a PLUS
*Associates or Bachelors Degree in Accounting is Required
*QuickBooks Online experience is Required
*Proficiency with Microsoft Office
*Advanced accounting knowledge of: debits/credits, accounts payable/receivable, reconciliation, asset depreciation, sales tax, cash flow, payroll processing, HR tasks
*A working understanding of GAAP
*Experience assisting in financial report preparation
*Strong computer skills
*Strong attention to detail
*Excellent oral and written communication skills
*Strong organizational & planning skills in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

*Manage, Coordinate, Prepare and Analyze Financial Reports
*Work closely with the Senior Executive Team, reporting directly to the CEO
*Cash reconciliation
*Process accounts payable and receivable
*Process ACH payments
*Perform Bank Reconciliations for the accounts
*Process Journal entries as needed for month end activity
*Process HR tasks/activities
*Advise with any accounting matters with a full understanding of company business structure
