Idaho National Laboratory is hiring an Entry Level HR Compliance Assessment Specialist to work a Project Hire position that will last approximately two years. Our team works a 9x80 schedule located out of our Idaho falls facility with every other Friday off.
Responsibilities include:
  • Assess HR operations, programs and procedures to ensure they are are consistently applied and align with policies, procedures, federal requirements, and contractual obligations.
  • Facilitate assessments for HR. Assess HR processes, procedures, and other guidance documentation and objective evidence for compliance to applicable policies, regulations, laws, etc.
  • Conduct gap analysis, provided recommendations, and write reports.
  • Maintain an up-to-date list of HR programs, procedures, and other guidance documentation.
  • Assist in identification and incorporation of HR (directives, regulatory) requirements within the appropriate guidance document.
  • Ensure a risk-based approach is used in assessing operations, procedures, and activities against laws, regulations, executive orders, prime contract, and internal policies.
  • Support all areas of Performance Assurance (i.e. performing assessments, self-assessment coordination, issues management, cause analysis, corrective action plan development, regulatory screening, lessons learned coordination, performance assurance metrics/trending, reporting), requirements, audit support, audit facilitation, HR Compliance Program Management tasks and other projects.
  • Support HR programs from identification/initiation of requirements, through implementation, ongoing evaluation and organizational health results.
  • Evaluate procedures throughout HR for compliance to requirements. Identify solutions to issues or areas of non-compliance.


Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree Human Resources, Compliance, Legal Studies, Business Management, or related field with 0-2+ years of related experience
  • Related experience includes locating, reading, and understanding employment regulations, interpreting policy, gap analysis and documentation
Job Information:
  • Salary Grade PR0100 - 180 ($64,272 - $102,840) / PR0200 - 190 ($72,528 - $119,652)
