Idaho National Laboratory is hiring a Workplace Concerns Investigator to work in our Workplace Concerns and Investigations department. Our team works a 9x80 schedule located out of our Idaho Falls facility in a with every other Friday off. You will have the opportunity of a hybrid onsite/telecommute position.
The Workplace Concerns Investigator (investigator) conducts workplace concerns investigations, as assigned, related to legal standards of conduct under relevant employment laws, violations of the Battelle Energy Alliance, LLC (BEA) Standards of Conduct and Business Ethics, the Employee Handbook, and other policies and work rules.
Responsibilities Include:
  • The investigator may also be assigned to investigate employee concerns allegations related to environmental safety and health (ESH); quality; mismanagement; waste, fraud, and abuse (WFA); technical standards; regulatory compliance; chilled work environment (CWE); and harassment, intimidation, retaliation/reprisal discrimination (HIRD) for filing an employee concern.
  • The work of the investigator supports BEA in encouraging a culture consistent with the Idaho National Laboratory (INL) Values.


Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:
  • PR0200: Bachelor's degree data analytics, computer forensics, human resources, or related field and two years relevant experience.
  • PR0300: Bachelor's degree data analytics, computer forensics, human resources, or related field and five years relevant experience
  • Relevant experience conducting investigative activities (for example, military, law enforcement, or corporate investigations).
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products, specifically Word and Excel required.
    Preferred:
  • Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP);
  • Certified Workplace Mediator or Certified Mediator;
  • Investigations Certification;
  • Advanced Course in Reid Technique of Interviewing and Interrogation;
  • Certified Analytics Professional.
  • Previous experience with Employee Concerns Program or Ethics and Compliance Program.
  • Proficient in the use of data analytics software.
